Lawn Care Worker - Midland, ON

This is a seasonal, contract position, April to early October and is a great opportunity for someone who is physically fit and enjoys working outdoors.

Must be able to work Monday to Friday and some Saturday mornings.

Weed Man Midland is a locally owned and operated, Canadian company! As we continue to grow, we are looking for the next great Lawn Care Worker to join our successful team based out of Midland, Ontario. As a lawn care professional, you will be responsible for providing professional lawn care services to residential and/or commercial customers, while always maintaining top quality customer service.

As an associate of Weed Man you will:

• Provide basic lawn care services such as but not limited to fertilization, weed control, aeration, seeding, etc.
• Provide lawn analysis and quotes to potential customers.
• Analyze and provide recommendations to improve the quality of a customer’s lawn.
• Complete all paperwork properly and in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to existing and potential customers.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned truck and equipment.
• Maintain a professional personal appearance.
• Assist in equipment repairs.

• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Earn a competitive hourly wage plus the opportunity to earn a season-end bonus and/or sales incentives.
• Be provided company training as well as advancement opportunities.

Weed Man is looking for highly motivated and passionate individuals who meet the following:

* Valid Driver's License (G or G2 with a clean driving record)

*Legally entitled to work in Canada

*Attendance: Being on time and at work for every shift is essential to meeting customer service goals

* Professional Appearance

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

*Great customer service skills

* Advanced problem solving skills and proven time management

* Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

* Ability to work in a results-oriented environment

* Ability to walk extensively and to lift or carry up to 50 pounds 8-11 hours per day

* Able and willing to work in various weather conditions 8-11 hours per day

* Previous industry experience is an asset but is not required
